I have been immersing myself in articles and blog posts concerning a "Thomas Jefferson Education". I want the book, but will have to get it from Interlibrary loan, since our library doesn't carry it.
But in the meantime, I am reading all I can on the wonderful resource known as the internet.
One article that struck me in particular is at The Internet Dark Ages. Here is a quote from the post:
"If you want to teach your children to excel in life and be able to make things happen in the society they live in, you must teach them the following seven traits. And, unless you teach them these traits, they will not learn them...."
He then goes on to list the seven traits, with hyperlinks to Dictionary.com
